Product Overview
A Fuse is an safety device used to protect an electrical circuit from higher current. It has a strip of wire that melts and breaks an electric circuit when the current exceeds a desired level. Regular fuses are always connected in series with components to be protect from overcurrent, so when the fuse blows (opens) it will open the circuit and stop any current through the components. Regular fuses do not allow for any spike over the current rating of the fuse. A time delay fuse, sometimes known as an anti-surge or slow blow fuse, allows a surge in electricity for a short time before the fuse actually blows. This 15A 600VAC/300VDC time-delay Fuse have fiber body, melamine tube and nickel-plated brass endcaps, it is designed to meet the needs of control circuit transformer protection, current-limitation protects down stream components against damaging thermal and magnetic effects of short-circuit currents. This fuse is compatible to be used with GE's Computed Tomography (CT) Systems.
