Product Overview
The Smart Cathode Onboard Rotating Processor (SCORP) for VCT and VCT HD - RoHS is used by General Electric HealthCare in the HD Computerized Tomography (CT) and diagnostic imaging system. The SCORP provides the central communication point for the rotating subsystems in the VCT scanner. It interfaces to the slip ring assembly and redirects necessary communication to other rotating subsystems. The SCORP has 64 Megabytes of Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory (SDRAM) for program and data storage. It provides power sequencing and power supervision to assure proper operation and reset. It is widely used in Learning Solutions For AMT, Discovery 710 64SL STD (CHINA), Optima CT580 RTI MID BJG, VCT Wauk Base FV 72 GT1700, Lightspeed CT750 HD, Revo Discovery CT HD5 HVY CTM, and many other devices.
