Product Overview
The MAC 2000 Silex Wireless Bridge is the wireless bridge which allows the use of a non-wireless device (10/100/1000 BASE-T network device) as a wireless device. Various wired products, such as printers, PC peripheral devices and monitoring cameras can be connected over a wireless network. The wireless security feature will ensure safe and secure communication over wireless network. This bridge can work in different operating modes “Single Client” mode and “Multi-Client” mode. If only one device needs to be connected with the wireless LAN, the single client mode can be selected. The MAC address and IP address of the connected device are used for wireless LAN connection, you can use the device as if it is directly connected to a wireless LAN. When multiple non-wireless devices need to be connected, the multi-client mode is used. By using a HUB on the LAN port, up to 16 devices can be connected with the bridge. For wireless connection, the MAC address of the bridge and IP addresses of the connected devices will be used. Different configuration methods are also available for effective performance. It is recommended not to use the devices operating under same frequency band nearby during operation.
