This lithium coin battery is used in the Patient Monitoring system. This is a non rechargeable Poly Carbon Monoflouride Lithium battery. This type of battery offers excellent long-term service life and presents an ideal power source for low-drain memory backup applications. These batteries are small, round and slim and due to their less self-discharge they are able to hold their charge for a longer period of time. In this battery, the cathode active material is a fluorinated carbon, which is reduced to carbon and lithium fluoride during cell discharging. These batteries are suitable for small electronic appliances requiring relatively high current, such as digital watches, card remote controls. This battery is compatible with B40 and B20 Patient Monitoring system.
