Product Overview
The O-ring is used to prevent the leakage of vapors from Breathing Circuit Gas (BCG) in an anesthesia delivery machine. A common cause of vapor leakage is the absent or damaged O-ring. It is used in Ohmeda condenser – easy change module for eliminating leakage of gases. It is made of silicone rubber which is an excellent seal for high temperatures in static applications. Silicone compounds are widely used in medical applications because they are very clean and odorless or tasteless. It has good insulating properties. Silicones are a group of elastomeric materials made of polymers containing silicon, oxygen, hydrogen, and carbon.
